MSPL bagged Social Awareness Award 2010-11

MSPL bagged Social Awareness Award 2010-11 instituted by Federation of Indian Mining Industries (FIMI) for adoption of 18 villages located near mines and wind farms. CSR activities focused on Health and hygiene, livelihood generation, education and sports and basic village amenities.

Large Enterprise Category 2011

Mr.Rahul N.Baldota, Executive Director, MSPL Limited receiving the award from Mr. Veerappa Moily, Hon’ble Minister of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. The Corporate Social Responsibility activities of MSPL were recognised and chosen for the prestigious Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) – Socio Economic Development Foundation (SEDF) Special Jury Commendation in the Large Enterprise Category for the year 2011. MSPL works in partnership with local communities to improve their quality of life and contribute towards sustainable development, creating alternative credit systems on their own – Self Help Groups (SHGs) and linking them with banks and other resource agencies for financial and technological support to improve their livelihood.

IWPA FOR THE YEAR 2009-10 : Indian Wind Power Association (IWPA) awarded MSPL Limited for the Best Performing Wind Farms (above 2 MW category) in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh for the year 2009-10.

MSPL Limited bagged the “Gold Award” in Best Public Service Campaign category for the Baldota Group Calendar for the year 2010. Mr. Raghavendra Rao received the award from Mr.Manishankar Aiyar, former Union Minister, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India.

Quarterly Journal – “Minds and Mettle”

MSPL in house Quarterly Journal – “Minds and Mettle” received special recognition under the Corporate Collaterals category by the Public Relations Council of India.

Lifetime Achievement Award

Mr. Narendrakumar A. Baldota was awarded the prestigious “Lifetime Achievement Award” by the honourable President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil. This honour was conferred as a part of the 11th set of “Niyat Shree” and “Niyat Bandhu” awards of Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) in New Delhi.

“Three Star Export House” Certificate

“Three Star Export House” Certificate from the Ministry of Commerce. The status certificate was issued as per the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. The certificate, with a validity of five years, underscores MSPL’s contribution to the Nation’s exchequer.

“Chanakya Award for Corporate Governance” was presented to MSPL by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI).

Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)

“First Prize by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India” for its excellence as an Independent Power Producer under wind Energy Programme during the 10th Five year plan period (2002-2007) on 22nd November, 2007.

Awarded by Chennai Port Trust “The Best Business Partner Award for 2007-08” for achieving highest volume of iron ore exported through Chennai Port.

Awarded the Corporate Fair Business Practices (CFBP) – Jamnalal Bajaj Uchit Vyavahar Puraskar in the year 2006-07 in large manufacturer category. The award given to the Company recognizes MSPL’s ongoing commitment to fair business practices, equitable development, community service and exemplary corporate citizenship.

Bagged CAPEXIL’s Special Export Award for 2006-07, consecutively for last eight years. Your Company continues to have “Three Star Export House” status from Govt. of India in recognition of substantial Foreign Exchange contribution made to the Country’s Exchequer.

MSPL Limited was awarded the prestigious Export Excellence Award by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) for its outstanding performance in export of minerals during the year 2006-07. Dun & Bradstreet (D&B)-ECGC award

Mr.K.K.Kumar, VP (Marketing & Logistics) receiving the award from Mr.G.K. Pillai, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. MSPL Limited bagged the Dun & Bradstreet (D&B)-ECGC award for the year 2006-07 as the best exporter in Minerals and Metals- Large Category. The award is to recognize Indian companies taking a lead in augmenting Indian exports.

For planting over 1.6 Milion trees, MSPL has been awarded Indira Priyadarshni Vriuksha Mitra Award in 2004.
